Section 34.004, Chapter 34 of Senate bill 1 States: Without exception, school districts can no longer permit or allow a child to stand at any time on a school bus in motion. Thank you in advance for supporting the safety needs addressed by Senate Bill 1. Chapel Hill ISD is very concerned with the safety of your children and our students; therefore, students will be required to sit down on a moving school bus. *Students are to be out, ready and waiting at their bus stop *Drivers are instructed to approach each bus stop with caution *Drivers are to use their discretion relating to daily weather *Students who do not sit down cannot be transported on the school bus
